COMMON
QUESTIONS

STL and OBJ are the most common and work great for both FDM and resin. We also accept 3MF and STEP files. If you only have a reference image or rough idea, reach out anyway — we can point you toward free modeling resources or help figure out a path forward.
Both. Local pickup is available in Southern California, which saves on packaging and is great for larger or fragile pieces. We also ship anywhere in the US — shipping cost depends on size and weight and will be included in your final quote.
It depends heavily on size and complexity. Small parts can be done same or next day. Large cosplay builds or multi-piece assemblies may take several days to a week. Once we review your file we'll give you a realistic turnaround time. Rush orders may be available — just ask.
Depends on your use case. FDM (filament) is stronger, faster, and better for large or functional parts. Resin gives you incredibly fine detail and a smoother surface — ideal for miniatures, jewelry, and display pieces. Not sure which is right for you? Yes. We offer light finishing (sanding, cleanup, seam removal) and full paint and finish for cosplay and display pieces. Just select a finishing option in the estimator or mention it when you reach out. For complex paint jobs, send a reference image so we can quote accurately.

For single-piece FDM prints, our build volume handles most standard requests. For anything larger — full helmets, torso armor, large props — we split and assemble multi-piece builds. There's no practical size limit for assembled pieces; we've built full cosplay suits this way.
